About me


Here I am, 65 years old, a mother and grandmother, looking and most of all feeling younger, enjoying movement exercises and a strong health, more so now than when I was 20 or 30 years old.

Here are some of my creations out of the benefits of exercises, making space for:

I guess these days I 'feel' my body more than I did then...

Any change in sensations I can recognise and act upon to improve how I feel. Of course, other aspects, like a good, healthy lifestyle, help along the way.

A Story About Me

In the range of types, I am the 'nervous' kind, and when I was 7 years old I had a disease the doctors had never seen before in children, a psychosomatic symptom, chronic itching on my legs that I would scratch and would not leave alone.

(My sister just happened to have been born just before that arose and I no longer had all the family's attention!). As I grew up this improved, but I still had a strong tendency to become 'nervously stressed' and I knew that to live more happily I definitely needed to exorcise this stress condition.

I found that when I did not use my energy creatively I was being destructive.

For many years I used to smoke cigarettes in order to repress a simmering nervousness. Fortunately, however, I'd always enjoyed dance and went from Classical to Improvisation Dance.

I felt that this gave me a huge breath of fresh air, changed my mind state, made me connect again with my body, my feeling of well-being, my love for life, allowing me to channel and fully express my energy.

I trained in Tai Chi and a number of other related techniques, and became a teacher.

I learned a lot while teaching Tai Chi, Qigong and many other related methods, made my own routines to serve the different needs of my students and myself, and discovered some perfect applications for conditions of stress that included holistic health exercise programmes making them perfect exercises for seniors.

Over the years I also developped my creativity while Painting which is great satifaction for me also.

I am now living in France again after some years in the UK and other English-speaking countries, Australia and India, plus a year in Brunei, north Borneo.
